James 1:18 - Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures
God wasn’t talking about the entire human race here… he was referring to those who are born again, he called them firstfruits (first class), it means the first and the best! When he said ‘the word of truth’ he meant the Gospel, therefore anyone who is born again (born of the word) is in this class. .
Imagine this, the Bible tells us that all that God made is good, but he calls us first class! When you understand this, you’ll understand your potentials in this realm. This is why Satan like to keep God’s people ignorant so that they will not become what God has said they are. But you know better now. .
