There’s no higher mandate than the one given to us by Jesus Christ to take the Gospel to every man’s world. He has commanded us to go and speak and act in His Name. What an honour! We’re His ambassadors, to make students of the nations, to show them how to live. When He said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,” he didn’t just mean countries. The word, “nation” is “ethnos” which means a group of people that share common interests.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew28:19-20).
This is a mandate for every believer, not just for pastors, prophets, and evangelists. Jesus said, “Go, and make disciples of all nations….” These were His parting words, His final commandment to the Church; we must take it seriously. Have the inner motivation, the burning passion, to make the Gospel known, and get everyone in your world ready for the Master’s soon return.
You might be the last or only hope they have to hear and receive the Gospel. Take advantage of every opportunity to win souls, and together, let’s reach the world for Christ!
